Partners

Seattle's Cascade PBS is the lead agency on the Local Streaming Initiative. But we are not going this alone.

An advisory board of station partners helps steer the project.

In the future, we hope to be co-owned by multiple stations, so we remain true to our mission of putting local stations in control of their own destiny.

System partners

The LSI is built atop PBS infrastructure (Passport, Media Manager, etc.), and the service is available only to PBS member stations in good standing

The Programming Service provides programming support for over 50 local PBS stations across the country covering 51% of US TV Households. They have joined the LSI to manage show metadata and to create/manage default national programming lineups which any LSI station can use in "Autopilot" mode

Community Development Partnership (CDP) is an independent public benefit corporation working on behalf of more than 230 public radio and television stations to share data across the system, analyze fundraising performance, and develop best practices. They will help us report data to LSI stations, providing apples-to-apples comparisons with PBS properties
